Special radioisotopes and special applications, which are supplied, or which can be developed, if required:

Nuklidkarte Be 7Increasingly polymer materials are used in applications of mechanical engineering. For wear tests these materials can be beneficially labeled with Beryllium 7.
The labeling process has been developed by ZAG Zyklotron AG to routine application.

Nuklidkarte Zr 89Zirconium 89 is necessary for the medical diagnosis with PET (positron emission tomography). Antibodies are labelled advantageously with Zr 89. A manufacturing process for isotopic pure Zr 89 is available at ZAG. The used beam current is 70 µA, routinely. The process had been developed in the framework of a  project, which was carried out together with co-workers of Institut für Physikalische Chemie und Radiochemie of Hochschule Mannheim. It was financially supported by BMWT within the scope of the central innovation program medium sized companies (ZIM).

Among many others the following radionuclides (relevant for medical diagnosis) can be produced with the accelerators of ZAG Zyklotron AG, if required.
