Numerous investigations in medicine and technology are only possible with the aid of radioactive labeling. No other procedure allows tracing the human metabolic pathway in-vivo or detecting machine wear in real-time operation. In both cases, highly sensitive instruments measure traces of radioactivity in non-contact procedures.

The radiotracers are exclusively manufactured with our cyclotrons. For the medical application, ZAG produces tailor-made pure radioisotopes which minimize radiation exposure during diagnostics due to their short half-life and type of radiation. In mechanical engineering applications, the highly sensitive measuring equipment of ZAG allows the use of minimum amounts of radioactivity.
